Estate planning software for attorneys who draft from their own forms
An estate plan is only as good as the facts behind it. Jural collects those facts through your intake questionnaire, fills your own will, trust and power of attorney templates with them, and reads the documents clients bring from an earlier plan, so the design meeting is about choices, not about copying names and dates into Word.
Where an estate planning practice loses time
The questionnaire comes back half complete, with children listed in one section and stepchildren in another. The client brings a revocable trust from fifteen years ago, two amendments, a pour-over will and a beneficiary designation that may not match any of them. You spend the first hour of the matter reading, and the drafting that follows is mostly re-typing: full legal names, the trustee succession, the guardian, the specific gifts, the same facts across five or six documents in the plan.
Every re-typed name is a chance for a mismatch between the will and the trust. Those mismatches are the errors that surface years later, when nobody can ask the client what they meant.
How Jural handles each job
- Intake questionnaires. Your estate planning questionnaire collects family, fiduciaries, assets, prior plans and goals. Legal intake software turns the answers into one matter record that every draft reads from.
- Conflicts. Spouses with separate interests, adult children and named fiduciaries are searched against your records with law firm conflict check software, and you sign off the report before the joint engagement letter goes out.
- Drafting the plan. Legal document automation software fills your own templates for wills, revocable trusts, pour-over wills, durable powers of attorney and health care directives with the same facts from the matter, so a name is spelled the same way in every document.
- Existing plans. Upload the client's current documents, including scans. Legal document analysis software summarizes the dispositive provisions, fiduciaries, trust terms and amendments, with a page reference for each, and answers questions such as who succeeds the trustee or what happens to a specific gift.
- Your clause library. Standard provisions, alternate clauses and state-specific language live in the document management system for law firms, searchable by meaning, so drafts start from what you have already approved.
- Signing and review dates. Signing meetings, funding tasks and review reminders go on the matter calendar through legal calendaring software.
From questionnaire to signing packet
- Send your intake questionnaire. Answers arrive as a matter with family members, fiduciaries and assets listed.
- Run the conflict search on both spouses, children and named fiduciaries. Record your decision and send the engagement letter generated from your template.
- Upload the client's existing plan documents. Read the summary of each and ask Jural to list where they conflict, for example a trust amendment that changes a gift named in the will.
- Hold the design meeting with the summary in front of you and record the decisions in the matter.
- Generate the will, trust, powers of attorney and directives from your templates. Every document reads the same facts from the matter.
- Review and edit each draft, then export DOCX for the signing packet.
- Create the funding checklist and the post-signing tasks with assignees and reminders.
What stays with you
Jural supports lawyers and does not give legal advice. It does not choose a trust structure, assess tax exposure, judge capacity or decide whether a gift should be outright or in trust. It drafts from the templates you approved and the facts the client gave, and every draft is a draft for attorney review. If a template needs state-specific execution language, that language comes from your template, not from Jural. When you ask a research question, the answer cites only the sources Jural searched in that run and links to the passage.
Client documents are never used to train AI models. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and the activity log records who opened and changed each document. More at confidential AI for law firms.

A firm with three or more attorneys and staff, or one that drafts many plans a month, fits Firm at $49 per user per month billed yearly ($588 per user per year), or $99 month to month, with 80 drafts per user per month and shared templates across the firm.
