AI Legal Assistant FAQ

Straight answers to the questions attorneys, paralegals and firm administrators ask before they move matter work into Jural. If your question is not here, write to [email protected].

Product

Jural is an AI legal assistant for the whole firm, covering document analysis, contract review against your playbook, drafting from firm templates, research with cited sources, case chronologies, deposition and meeting prep, intake with conflict check, deadlines and tasks, draft time entries and a searchable firm knowledge base, all inside matters with roles and permissions.

Jural reads PDF and DOCX files and scanned documents, which go through text recognition first, so image-only productions and faxed medical records become searchable and can be summarized.

Yes, you upload your clause positions as a playbook and ai contract review software flags each deviation, proposes fallback language and exports the redline as DOCX with tracked changes.

A small firm can run intake, conflict checks, matters, deadlines and time entries in Jural alone, while firms that keep their current billing system export approved time as CSV or LEDES 1998B.

Yes, upload your templates and Jural fills them from matter facts, keeps your clause wording and returns a DOCX for attorney review.

Accuracy and ethics

No, Jural supports lawyers and does not give legal advice, and every summary, redline, draft and research answer is a draft for review by a licensed attorney.

Research answers cite only the sources Jural actually searched in that run and link each claim to the passage it relies on, Jural never invents citations, and when nothing relevant turns up the answer says so.

No, Jural computes candidate dates from orders, notices and contracts and every one of them must be confirmed by an attorney, because Jural does not replace your court rules calendaring review.

Check every citation and quotation against the source, confirm computed dates against the governing rules and orders, and read the draft as you would read work from a new associate before it goes to a client or a court.

Confidentiality

No, client documents, questions and drafts are never used to train AI models and are processed only to produce the result a user requested.

Only the people added to it, because per-matter access walls keep everyone else out of its documents, chats and drafts, and the activity log records who opened what and when.

Yes, data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and the full list of safeguards is on our confidential ai for law firms page.

No, we do not claim certifications or compliance badges, and we answer client and carrier security questionnaires sent to [email protected] with a description of what we actually do.

Pricing and billing

Solo is $49 per user monthly or $24 per user per month billed yearly ($288 per user per year), Firm is $99 monthly or $49 billed yearly ($588), and Enterprise is $199 monthly or $99 billed yearly ($1 188), with details on ai legal assistant pricing.

Solo covers one or two seats, Firm starts at three seats and Enterprise starts at ten seats, and you can add seats at any time.

The affected feature pauses for that seat until the next billing period or until you move to a higher plan, and deleting a document does not give pages back because limits count consumption.

Payments are final, with exceptions only for a duplicate charge, a proven unauthorized charge or a total service failure, as set out in the refund policy.

Cancellation stops the next renewal, the firm keeps access until the end of the paid period, and after the subscription ends the workspace stays available for export for 30 days.

Yes, every plan is a monthly or yearly subscription priced per user, with no credits or one-time purchases, and the only thing you can use without paying is the one-time demo review of a contract or the sample NDA on the homepage.

Getting started

Upload a contract of up to 10 pages or paste up to 6 000 words on the homepage, pick the contract type and your side, and see the summary and first risks, with the full report unlocking after you create an account, which also adds one more full review exported as a watermarked DOCX.

Create your account, invite your colleagues, open a first matter and upload documents the same day, then add your templates and playbook as you go.

Create each active matter, upload its key documents and templates, and import client and adverse party names so the conflict check covers past work.

Ready to see it on a real agreement

Run a contract through Jural and read the summary and first risks before you choose a plan.
